18/01/2010: Asep-Tec success confirms Fords foil approach
For almost a decade, Stork have utilised a Fords capping press to make and apply foils to their Asep-Tec linear filling machines
Fords have predominantly been associated with rotary filling solutions, but Stork see advantages in the same capping solution in a linear format.
In comparison with pre-cut foil systems, the Fords cap offers great economy from the reel, good presentation, good centralisation and an increased application efficiency.
The Stork Asep-Tec machine receives caps in single file and diverts them into multiple lanes, sterilising them in the process. It was one of the first fully aseptic machines with full FDA approval, and the latest generation of the Asep-Tec, which has just had it's best year ever.
Fords would like to thank Stork for their continued support and wish them a successful 2010
