- Brief discussion on the theoretical operation of the Fords Capping Press
- Points of interest and general method & procedures
- Dismantling of Reel Control, Feed System, Rewind and associated assemblies
- Correct removal of Tool Unit
- Correct maintenance & cleaning of the Tool Unit
- Principles of delayed Ejection System
- Removal & cleaning of Former assembly
- Re-assembly of the Press with the focus on correct setting procedures
- Re-assembly of the Tool Unit prior to installing in the Press
- Correct installation & set up of the Tool Unit in the Press
- General setting up of the Press prior to running & correct method of adjustment
- Setting up of Chute System and Cap Applier
- Fine tuning of Cap Chute Delivery System
- Run the Press in a simulated production environment
- Individual assessment of course knowledge achieved
